Honoring the Life & Legacy of Sister Wilma Hart

n 28 February 2025, Marsh Memorial Homes mourned the passing of Sister Wilma Hart, a devoted Sister of The Children whose life was dedicated to nurturing and caring for countless children.

Her journey began in 1964, when, at just 24 years old, she started her training at Marsh Memorial Homes. From that moment, she became a pillar of love and guidance, serving with unwavering commitment until her retirement.

One of the children under her care fondly described her as a mother, grandmother, aunt, and godmother who led them to God. She embodied patience, kindness, and selflessness, ensuring that every child felt cherished—whether through small joys like baking treats and nature walks or making Christmases magical by fulfilling their heartfelt wishes.

Even after the children left Marsh, Sister Wilma kept in touch, always eager to hear about their lives and achievements. Many credit the best parts of who they are today to her unwavering support and love.
